Supreme Court Cases
The Supreme Court is the highest court in the United States. It serves, by in large, as an appellate jurisdiction. In cases where the United States is a party or in cases involving an ambassador or public ministers, the Supreme Court has original jurisdiction. The general hierarchy of the Federal Judicial System is: District Courts, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. There are 94 District Courts and the Court of Appeals is divided up into four main sections: Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, 12 Courts of Appeals, Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and State Courts of Last Appeal.
Getting a case to be heard by the Supreme Court is not an easy matter. Most appeals come via a formal petition, called a write of certiorari. The Supreme Court receives over 9,000 requests annually and fewer than 100 will be heard—that’s only about 1%. Cases that do not affect the public as a whole are less likely to be heard. Furthermore, cases in which lower courts are in agreement on the outcome are likely to be dismissed. The Supreme Court’s term begins the first Monday in October and completes at the end of June.
Should a Supreme Court Justice not agree with a ruling, he or she may submit their opinion on the court case. However, this opinion does not automatically get added. It must first be approved by at least four other Supreme Court Justices. It’s common for a Supreme Court Justice to have his or her case opinion returned with draft modification recommendations. Should a Supreme Court Justice have trouble getting his or her case opinion approved, he or she can threaten the other Supreme Court Justices with a similar action in return.

Comments on Supreme Court Cases
i am fed up with how a group of hypocrites are constantly hiding the truth to the public on how our united states legal system is suppose to work. the ohio parole board system in 2004 has managed to enforce it’s anarchy behaviors against me and my wife to the point of telling us we had no right to marry without their permission, i had no right to keep working a job parole staff allowed me to work even though i had been on my job for 16 months, i was put in jail for 4 days in 2004(8-31)for taking my wife and stepson out to dinner for my wife’s birthday, forced to go to uneeded counseling, turned down by numerous ohio government official including the inspector general and atttorney general and governor bob taft who’s still hiding his corruption all because i know that this unit called titles of nobles hire judges and politicians to racially run the usa. i cant even get unemployment benefits for qualifying weeks i applied for. i got sent to prison for 4 years on gross sexual imposition with a minor(10 year old niece)did my time from 1997-2001 but got a job at a laundromat, worked for 16 months was constantly being harrassed by parole staff in dayton, filed a preliminary injunction against parole staff in dec 2004, then to only be asked a month later to quit my job which i had an ethical duty to not quit because i had a wife to support. hell i was only making 7.15 per hour at that. now i’ve filed for unemployment benefits and some unemployment review commission is saying i cant get benefits because i had to go back to prison to finish my original sentence. this is bull shit! i was simply told on 1-20-05 to end my job because suddenly a month after i filed a lawsuit against parole staff my job is now inappropiate due to a lie that as a sexual oriented offender i have no liberty to be around minors in a monitored setting the very way my situation was set up from 9-14-03 to 1-26-05 the time period i worked and from the fact one of my conditions stated for me to have no contact with minors without my parole officer’s permission or knowledge. i had permission and the damn fools knew where i worked. this is one of the worse injustices i’ve ever experienced . my wife is my wife is currently in prison because she became homeless after i was taken away on 1-26-05. she relapsed after being clean from drug abuse for several months but was arrested for tampering with evidence and given 1 year in prison. when i was coming home from my revocation on 10-22-05 my wife was on her way to prison about a month and a half later. it is nosecret that because we are afro-americans we will not get the best interest of legalk help and we will be ignored because were considered less than. my niece has forgiven me for my actions ago but parole staff in dayton, ohio will not allow me to go on with my life. if you or someone knows anybody who publishes information on a string of injustice please passs my information to them. if you are also racial and dont love yourself and realize its a tradition to keep treating blacks and others as scum, i pray that you find the most precious thing a human can possess which is INTEGRITY and the ability to assert the truth inspite of what a lot of evil people continue to do which is support lies that it is better to live like a hypocrite and state that some humans are better than others because some people’s shit just dont stink. “We all Stink from time to time.” “Its a shame that some people actually believe their shit doesnt stink.” I apologize for any offending words and words that depict of cuss or any vulgarity. I currently feel its hard to get through to folks that we in america have a serious problem of how we treat one another.
